Job Overview  

The Account Manager creates, implements and manages large scale recruitment drives and events for internationally based teachers and school leaders for high volume international government clients in the Middle East and MENA region.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

These will be set by the Management team in accordance with the development of assigned region, the strategic goals of the company and the current Bonus scheme but can include KPIs for revenue, efficiency, client satisfaction, collections and team working.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

Placement of teachers and educational staff

Recruit and place teachers for specific high volume government programmes including:

Candidate Attraction: Create innovative and well planned marketing campaigns to generate interest in and applications for the government project/s in key countries: UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA.  Use the experience and resources of the existing Edvectus senior recruitment teams already based in the countries above to insure effectiveness. Attraction should include classic advertisement as well as social marketing, blogging, PR, ‘push marketing’, and innovative new ideas.

Candidate Education: Using existing tools and suppliers, create and implement a series of videos, webinars, documents and templates to fully inform prospective candidates about the opportunities available. Utilize the Edvectus Learning Portal and create resources as needed.

Communication: Understand the needs of the clients, and communicate those needs within Edvectus. Know the client business so well that well-matched candidates are presented to them, understanding how/when their requirements change so that no opportunities are lost when the market is candidate driven.  Effectively disseminate information about client needs to all consultants worldwide enabling them to accurately and effectively represent opportunities to candidates.

Client interface: Be the main point of contact for the client. Build long term relationships and fulfil and maintain existing client business.

Events: Manage effective international interview trips as dictated by client needs

Process: Create and implement a structured recruitment and screening processes to insure repeatable, high volume, high-quality results for minimum cost.

Teamwork: Integrate and interlink with the international school recruitment team to maximise placement opportunities for all candidates.  

Market Knowledge. Act as a trusted advisor to clients at all stages in the recruitment process, including benefits of recruitment from multiple nationalities and competitiveness of employment packages to increase the probability of successfully meeting client needs. Understand business trends within the client base, country and region, and the impact of the worldwide market and creatively react to those trends to enhance results

People management: effectively hire, organise and manage a team of remotely located recruitment assistants to process candidates

Collections : Ensure prompt payment of fees

The job holder will additionally be responsible for keeping the database up to date with accurate information to enable the Recruitment team to effectively attract appropriate candidates, for developing marketing initiatives and working within Edvectus procedures and databases.

Other Important Information

Approximately 30% travel is required.

Most candidates are required to work at home for some or part of the week.

Person Spec

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

·         Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE standard), or be able to demonstrate an equivalent competency. 

·         Complete fluency in English, written and spoken.

·         Experience with recruitment of staff

·         Experience in a customer facing role

·         Ability to juggle multiple priorities

·         Strong IT skills

·         Eligibility to work in the UK, US, Canada or UAE

Highly Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or above
  •  
  • Experience: 
    • Teaching in a Primary or Secondary  international school context, preferably within the MENA region 
    • In customer Service/Sales/Commercial environment 
    • Working in an office based environment 
    • Working or volunteering internationally 
    • Recruitment preferably within an education and/or international context 
    • Within education sector with evidence of a vested interest there within, teacher training and/or assessing and hiring teaching staff.
