We are looking for an experienced Director of Admissions for a brand new campus that is part of a well-respected global school network. The school opened in September 2025 in Long Island, New York, initially catering for both day and boarding pupils in Grades 6-10 (eventually growing up to Grades 11 in 2027 and Grade 12 in 2028). Students from the surrounding area, throughout the United States, and from around the world will attend.
The Director of Admissions, as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, will play a full role in the strategic direction of the school, ensuring that roll targets are met, a healthy nationality balance maintained, and a consistent brand identity and message presented.
As well as the right to live and work in the US, candidates must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with advanced coursework.
• Extensive experience in Admissions in a similar school community.
• An ability to plan and oversee concurrent Admissions-related programs and projects.
• Experience supporting Admissions operations, including marketing, travel, and delivering presentations to all stakeholders.
• An understanding of the unique needs of an independent day and boarding Secondary school.
• Experience designing reports and delivering presentations for the Board and Faculty.
LEADERSHIP AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to plan strategically and cost-effectively, as well as prioritise resources.
