As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Secondary will be leading the Secondary School Teaching and Learning, holding responsibility for educational standards across the Secondary School.

This is the only not for profit Jewish Primary and Secondary School in SouthEast Asia inclusive of a kindergarten and nursery, and the only International School in Singapore that began as an offshoot of grass roots community efforts. Reflecting the cultural diversity of Singapore, this is an internationally diverse community welcoming staff and students from around the globe. Families from all faiths are welcomed and the school is in a unique position to promote interfaith dialogue and cultural understanding. This school delivers a truly holistic education to its students allowing all children to grow into fully rounded, socially responsible individuals with a love of lifelong learning. Teachers do not need to follow the Jewish faith - simply be sympathetic to all faith's followed in the school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification from home country
• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Master’s in Education or school leadership qualification or relevant field (preferred).
• At least 5 years’ outstanding teaching and leadership experience in the Secondary age range with A-Levels or equivalent, in an international setting
• Proven success in middle or senior leadership roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and parents.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage change.
• High level of cultural awareness and emotional intelligence.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and inclusion.

Salary and Benefits:

- Monthly salary up to $15,650 SGD depending on experience (Housing allowance incorporated into salary)
