Due to continued expansion we are seeking a teacher to establish a new AP program for AP Physics starting in August 2025.
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. In AP and Pre-AP curriculum development and instruction is essential. Must also have presented for the exam.
Degree in related subject accompanied by a teaching qualification.
A Master’s degree or higher in a related subject is an advantage.
Familiarity with AP curriculum standards and College Board requirements and the ability to design a Scheme of Work (SOW) for the subject. Capability to design Pre-AP courses tailored to students’ abilities to prepare them for AP courses. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimum instructions.
Ability to teach entirely in English. Strong curriculum development and instructional design skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to motivate students and help them achieve academic success.
The school opened in September 2012 and caters for mostly Chinese students. The school population is currently around 800 pupils who enjoy first-class facilities that include an indoor swimming pool, a fitness suite, a visual and performing arts centre as well as Astro-turf rugby and football pitches. The school offers a quality education for students over the age of 14 so students can join further education institutions in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
