The successful candidate must have a relevant degree and internationally recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE/PGDE or a Bachelor of Education. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ current experience teaching Biology at both Key Stages 4 (GCSE) and 5 (A Level). They must be an outstanding classroom practitioner, passionate about facilitating student learning skills with creative and innovative ideas, with experience and skills in providing adapted learning opportunities in order to support, meet and challenge the needs of all learners. Must be fully proficient in using Management Information Systems, such as SIMS and Microsoft office products, especially MS Word and Excel, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be organised, ensuring all record keeping is up to date. Prior experience in a multicultural international school environment is an advantage. Candidates will be expected to fully adhere to and support the Christian ethos of the school.
