We are seeking a Psychology Teacher for August 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering both IGCSE and A Level Psychology. However, the school are also very happy to consider strong candidates with an IB DP background who are looking to transition into the UK curriculum. This vital role makes the successful candidate the sole Psychology specialist, responsible for leading the entire subject. The successful candidate will teach and support students through the three-year IGCSE programme (Years 9–11) and ensure maximum success in the challenging AS and A Level qualifications (Years 12–13).
To be considered, it is essential to have:
A bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Psychology or a closely related field;
A relevant postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS);
Experience teaching (I)GCSE and A Level Psychology to a high standard (applications from IB Psychology teachers will also be accepted).
It is desirable to have:
A master’s or postgraduate qualification in a related subject;
Experience teaching EAL students (English as an Additional Language and English Second Language);
