They are looking for secondary teachers to join the expanding team of this exciting recently opened school that has brought British education to the heart of Nigeria since its launch in August 2024. Applicants will be delivering a tailored English National Curriculum and should be willing to contribure to extra curricular activities which will nurture students in to well rounded individuals. The school is based in Lekki - one of the safer more affluent areas of Lagos. The school can offer insight in to safety and security - which is much improved in Lagos as a whole after a lot of government investment.
Requirements:
1. 2 or more years of consistent experience teaching UK curriculum with high expectations and outcomes (must have high standards and expectations)
2. Relevant teaching qualification: Physics degree and PGCE or equivalent
3. Flexible, resilient and adaptable - able to work in a new school environment
4. Happy to work in a boarding school environment
5. Be able to teach at A level and IGCSE in their subject area
6. Be willing to undertake boarding duties and play a full part in the life of a busy international boarding school
Salary and Benefits:
1. Competitive salary - $50 - 60,000 USD per year (Net after tax) - (there is a small deductible local taxed salary element)
2. On campus accommodation provided (2 bed)
