This independent international school - built on a brand new purpose-built campus housing outstanding facilities - opened in 2017 to provide high quality, international learning opportunities for students in the city of Johor Bahru and wider Johor community. About 75% of pupils are local from local Malaysian families and about 25% are from overseas. Similarly the staff is comprised of both local and international teachers. Staff are enthusiastic and dedicated and students are motivated. The school has a warm, family atmosphere and inclusive environment. An enthusiastic Teacher of Maths is required for an August 2024 start.
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in a related field plus a teaching certificate ie. PGCE.
At least 3 years of relevant experienceto IGCSE and A Level.
Professional written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team of multinational staff.
Must have efficient organisational and IT skills.
A thorough knowledge of best Learning and Teaching practice is essential.
A willingness to contribute to the life of the school is essential.

The city of Johor Bahru is Malaysia's second largest city and a rapidly growing and lively city linked to Singapore by a 1038m long causeway and by many Singapore owned companies within Johor. The school is situated in a suburb of Johor Bahru - Malaysia's second largest city and a rapidly growing and lively city - which is linked to Singapore by a 1038m long causeway kept busy by tourists (almost 50% of the tourists visting Johor are from Singapore) and Singaporeans living in Malaysia but working in Singapore, who enjoy the the lower cost of living in Malaysia but higher wages of Singapore!
