The Director of Learning Support provides strategic leadership and coordination for all aspects of special educational needs (SEN) within the middle school. This role ensures that students with diverse learning needs receive high-quality, individualized support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Director of Learning Support works closely with the Deputy Principal (Academics), teachers, parents, and external specialists to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with the school’s inclusive education vision. Candidates should have the following education, skills and experience:
1. Degree in Education or subject-related field.
2. Qualified teacher status with experience in SEN or inclusive education.
3. Experience working in a middle school or international/bilingual school environment preferred.
4. Experience leading SEN initiatives across multiple departments.
5. Experience leading a team of teachers and/or assistants.
6. Proven experience building proactive and positive relationships with parents.
7. Teachers’ qualification Certificate.
8. Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks, interventions, and adaptation strategies.
9. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
10. Collaborative and developmental approach when working with colleagues and staff.
