Applicants should:
Have excellent knowledge of one or more of the following related to the area of Design : International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), International Baccalaureate and Middle Years Program (MYP) or UK GCSE and A Levels. Where teachers are new to the IB they will engage with professional development to build their understanding.
The ability to teach design and technology up to IBDP level would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
Plan and deliver a rigorous teaching programme, which incorporates key content, skills and learning opportunities, which can be identified in detailed unit plans.
Use the agreed assessment data (baseline and teacher assessment) throughout the academic year to ensure that all students make progress.
Contribute ideas to further the development of outstanding learning across the faculty and school and work collaboratively with faculty and other teams in contributing to personal, faculty and whole school strategic development.
Facilitate regular wellbeing sessions

Having work experience of at least 5 years in accordance with the qualifications of the position to be applied
