We are looking for a Senior School Emotional Guidance Counsellor to lead social-emotional guidance & counselling function in the Senior School, supporting the wellbeing, mental health, resilience, and pastoral care needs of students, working within the school’s pastoral and safeguarding framework.

The school look for candidates with the following education, skills and experience:

* A relevant postgraduate qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
* Substantial experience working in counselling or guidance roles in school settings (senior secondary preferred).
* Demonstrated ability in supporting students through emotional/social challenges and transitions; experience in crisis intervention.
* Familiarity with and knowledge of best practices in social‑emotional learning, restorative practices, safeguarding, child protection.
* Skills in designing and delivering preventive and developmental wellbeing programmes.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, cultural awareness, and collaboration skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality, emotional maturity, resilience, and professional boundaries.
* Experience mentoring or supervising other counselling or pastoral staff is a plus.
