We are looking for a dedicated, well-qualified Librarian (EYFS/Primary) to promote and develop the school library and to make the library the heart of this prestigious international school in Bangkok.

The librarian will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the extensive EYFS and Primary library in the centre of the School building. They will deliver weekly library lessons to Primary classes, offer enriching extracurricular activities, alongside coordinating whole-school library events and delivering a regular programme of community library activities accessed by students and parents.

The school opened in September 2020, for boys and girls aged 2–17. They will cater for 1,500 students aged 2–18 from August 2024 when they open Year 13. The school offer IGCSEs and A levels, and a pathway to the world’s best universities.

Applicants should meet the following requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an Education/Library related field
• Previous experience of working in a school library environment
• Knowledge of day to day library routines
• Experience using a Library Management System
• To be an inspirational teacher who knows how to support and extend each student
• Proficient numeracy skills
• Outstanding ICT skills, including the use of emerging technologies to promote learning
• A understanding of the requirement to maintain confidentiality between colleagues, students and parents
• A commitment to model the school’s values of Kindness, Good Manners and wisdom
• A shared approach to nurture the whole child
• A knowledge of, and commitment to, prioritise the safeguarding of our students and teachers
• To be able to obtain a clear enhanced DBS check/International Child Protection Certificate and a criminal records check (or equivalent) from the UK and from all other countries you've worked in with no question regarding suitability to work with children
• Appropriate references from your current and previous employer, enforced by personal phone calls made to each referee.
• Qualifications will be verified in accordance with Thai law and visa requirements
