We are looking for TEFL Teachers to deliver and manage high quality and engaging lessons across the Centre's curriculum. Teachers will teach up to a maximum of 100 teaching hours per month. In addition, they may be asked to perform other administrative duties including facilitating student placement assessments, conducting parent meetings and participating in staff meetings. During the months of Summer and Winter Camps, regular teaching hours may be increased as per the contract. Teachers will also be expected to engage with a professional, collaborative culture of personal and departmental responsibility and ongoing improvement and growth.
Since opening their first centre in Ningbo in 2014, this English Language Centre has been bringing reading, writing and 21st century skills to children in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Shenzhen, both on campus at their affiliate international school, and in purpose designed centres off-campus. Founded as a solution to the problems that students and parents faced in their international school education, they now welcome students from a range of educational backgrounds, ages and levels, from as young as 5 up to 15 years old. Students arrive at the centres either after their regular school day ends, or on their weekends.
There are two vacancies in Shenzhen and one in Shanghai. Candidates must have a BA or above + TESOL/TEFL (120 hours+) or TKT and at least 1 year of English teaching experience, ideally related to the teaching of reading, writing &/or general English courses. They must also have no criminal record.
Teachers are paid a competitive salary based on their qualification, teaching experiences and performance during the interview. They are also provided with the following benefits::

g.10 days paid annual leave, which increase with each year of service, total up to 15 days; 1 day of paid sick leave/month; one day-off for Christmas, statutory holidays with pay every calendar year during the contract period (over 11 days/year) in accordance with Chinese government regulations.
