This top international school in Colombia is looking for a Primary Language and Literacy Coordinator (English and Spanish) to work with and through Primary staff to constantly improve the standards, quality and effectiveness of Primary English and Spanish, ensure the Primary English and Spanish curricula meet the needs of all students and to lead and coach the Spanish Subject Leader, Group Directors and Teaching Assistants to improve student attainment and achievement in English and Spanish. Candidates should have a Teaching Degree/Education Certification or higher, 3 or more years leading professional development in a Primary school, 5 or more years teaching in a Primary school developing an English or Spanish curriculum. They must be a fluent English speaker, ideally bilingual - English/Spanish and have experience of a range of Primary curricula, preferably including the PYP. Teaching experience in a bilingual or international school and experience supporting and mentoring teachers to enhance practice and modelling best practice to colleagues is also sought.
