We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced EAL/ELD teacher to join a Student Support Services department as a MLL Specialist to provide additional support to students enrolled in the MLL Support Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic and language supports to students who require additional assistance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification of Graduate Certificate
- At least 2 years of experience teaching
- Experience working with ESL/EAL learners
- Knowledge of international curriculums
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
- Knowledge of WIDA ELD and/or UbD framework(s) desirable, but not necessary as training will be provided.
