This international school in Shanghai is looking for a Primary Character Education and Life Skills Coordinator for August 2021. This is a key leadership position within the Primary section of the school. The Character Education and Life Skills Coordinator works in close consultation with the Co-Principals, Vice-Principal, the Primary Coordinators, ECE Coordinators and staff. In particular, the Character Education and Life Skills Coordinator is required to provide leadership for Character Education, Life Skills, Service Learning and Pastoral Care. The position builds on the basic roles and responsibilities as outlined in the Job Descriptions for Class Teacher and Year Leader and in accordance with the Schol's Mission, Principles and Practices. Applicants should have a BA Degree in Education or PGCE (or equivalent teacher certification in their home country) plus BA in the relevant subject they are applying to teach and several years of relevant post qualification experience. They are looking for passionate and committed teachers to join the school, ideally international experience. They are a Christian based school so a Christian background helps – if the candidate is not a Christian, then they need to be of good character and support the school ethos.
