The Head of Residence Hall is responsible for the safe, nurturing, and organized operation of the residence halls. This role oversees pastoral care, welfare and discipline of boarding students; manages staff working in the residences; ensures students’ day‑to‑day boarding life is well structured; liaises with parents; collaborates with academic, student life, and school leadership to ensure a holistic residential experience that supports students’ growth.

Candidates should have the following education, skills and experience:
-Holds the minimum requirement of a Bachelor Degree plus relevant teaching credentials
-Has a minimum of two years teaching in a school setting
-Has a minimum of four years working in a school residence
-Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and understands the value of generating positive professional relationships and partnerships with colleagues, parents and students
-Is highly organised and is able to exercise initiative, judgment and flexibility when dealing with competing priorities and needs
-Has a commitment to operate successfully in a bilingual teaching environment in which important Chinese and Western cultural characteristics are understood and respected.
-Has the ability to make good use of technology as a learning resource and for professional practice
-Contributes to the wider school development and growth
