This role is one of leadership and coordination and all tasks should be read as being in liaison with colleagues and members of the teaching faculty, the other leaders and the Senior
Leadership team. The Early Years Principal will join with the other sub-school Principals, the Assistant Head of School and the Head of School to form the Executive Leadership Team
The Early Years Principal, along with the PY Principal will lead the EY/PY Senior Leadership team. The team will consist of the Deputy Principal/PYP Coordinator, the EY Coordinator, the
Head of the Academic Unit and the Head of Student Support Services. The EY Principal will report to the Head of School. Please note: All leaders across the school will be expected to teach the equivalent of 1 class or 6 lessons a week.
They seek applications from teachers with the following education, skills and experience:
Holder of Bachelor's Degree and teacher's qualification
At least 2 years in school leadership team in early years' setting with the EYFS framework. Experience with the EYFS is key.
Given the specific complexities and nuances of the international school environment in China, their current priority for this SLT position is to identify a candidate with proven leadership experience within the Mainland China context
