We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Director of Performing Arts (Whole School) to join a high-performing and collaborative team. All aspects of Learning and Teaching, and the continuity of the experience enjoyed by the students, including:
• The Director of PA will be a teacher of music on a reduced schedule
• Lead and manage all performing arts events
• The quality and currency of curriculum provision
• Decision relating to developments needed, together with the implications for staffing and resources
• Priorities and goals within the subject improvement plan, which must complement the College Development Plan
• Monitoring the quality of learning and teaching within the subject area
• Communication within the subject area
• The leadership and development of staff, and assistants and technicians supporting the subject area
• Assuring vertical planning takes place across the College.

Candidates must have:
Qualified teacher status
Evidence of continuing professional development
Excellent leadership skills
The capacity to lead the Performing Arts Faculty
Excellent teaching skills
Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills
Some experience of teaching English National Curriculum, (I)GCSE and IBDP courses
Some knowledge of relevant IB curriculum and assessment matters
Has previous experience teaching in an international school environment
