We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Deputy Head of Primary and Pastoral Care to become a part of the founding team for a brand new international school in the Greater Jakarta area. This is a unique opportunity to develop and provide outstanding educational experiences for young children , implementing a progressive curriculum that balances the high standards of UK education with the local context of Jakarta.
The school will open to Early Years and Primary students in August 2026 and will be set in a well-resourced, purpose built campus that will allow the school to grow into a full Early Years, Primary and Secondary school. They aim to be the leading and most inspirational education provider in Jakarta.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s degree in Education, specializing in Primary Education.
Certified in teaching, with a focus on the Primary Education Framework
At least 5 years of experience in a primary educational setting post-qualification.
Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in Jakarta.
A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for innovative educational practices.
