The school boasts three campuses with over 5,000 students and 400 teachers. They are pleased to announce the opening of the role of Curriculum Coordinator in charge of Professional Development. This position will require you to work closely with administration and teachers to further high-quality quality teaching, promote pedagogical and professional development of staff, and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure school educational policy is in line with standards. This is truly a 21st century position and thus also incorporates the maintenance and development of online learning modules focused on pedagogy, classroom management, policy and culture. If you have a keen mind find for pedagogy, are a detail-oriented and creative thinker, love students, teaching and learning, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills then this may be the job for you!

Roles and Responsibilities
Create and lead opportunities for collaboration between teachers on different campuses
Facilitate, secure and provide professional development opportunities for all staff
Develop and enhance professional development modules within the school’s online professional development portal
Inform staff of in-house and external professional development opportunities available
Organize and lead the school’s yearly professional development conference
Facilitate professional development opportunities that are aligned with teacher’s professional growth plans

Required knowledge, skills and abilities
Basic knowledge of the schools main educational initiatives and resources, namely Understanding by Design (UbD), PBIS, Atlas, Neo LMS and Microsoft Teams.
Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills.
Creative and detail-oriented planning and organizational abilities
Proficiency in using technology and the ability to quickly learn usage of new platforms

Education: Master's degree in Curriculum is required and admin certification preferred.
