This international school in Shanghai is looking for an Early Years Resource Teacher to join them at their Puxi campus in August 2020. Resource teachers release Year Leaders 2 or 3 days a week, lead Focus Groups and other days of the week they work with groups of children for support/ extension (academic; social/emotional; general) as identified by Year Level teams. They also provide cover for classes when Supply teachers cannot be found. Candidates need to be: very flexible; adaptable; collaborative; intuitive; willing to not have their ‘own class’; understand a range of pedagogies; able to use their initiative. They should be a fluent English speaker, holder of Bachelor Degree and teaching certificate or license with excellent subject knowledge and several years of full-time teaching experience. They also should support the school's values, have passion for teaching students, demonstrate a rigorous approach in teaching different year levels and demonstrate commitment in teamwork. Experience in teaching in an international school with a diverse student body and teaching faculty is a plus.
