A Primary Key Stage 2 Teacher (ideally with UK curriculum experience) is needed at this expanding school in beautiful Kuala Lumpur Malaysia starting as soon as possible. A member of one of the largest and expanding school systems in the world, operating in nine countries with 195,000 students, offers you a chance to grow and expand your experience in an international role. The school is on a brand new campus with state of the art facilities and technology. You will be working with and reporting to the Principal, an experienced expatriate educator from the UK, as you work to build and grow this new school. There is a balance of local and expat teaching staff. The students will be from a mix of local and expatriate families.The school is brand new with anew campus and facilities. It is also part of a group of schools so you will always have support and collegiality. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of the IGCSE secondary curriculum and beable to teach across the range from 5 years to IGCSE in both disciplines. Some sporting ability would also be good but is by no means essential. They should also be familiar with inquiry-based or thematic teaching approaches, be willing to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme, have experience in using ICT-rich teaching environments, have relevant teaching degree and at least 2 years of consistent teaching experience, ideally but not essentially with international/ overseas schools.
